WP3: Development and evaluation of strategies for ex situ
conservation
In
WP3 the current ex situ conservation, collection and
cryopreservation strategies in partner countries will be identified
and working alongside WP4 a generic framework will be developed.
Thus, the major output from WP3 will be a defined framework for the
cryopreservation of HSB genetic resources, in order to support the
international cooperation in genebanking, also taking into account
countries without any current cryopreservation activities.
